The starting point
Protego is a Tonbridge pest controller covering homes and businesses across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. BPCA qualified, fully insured, 24/7 phone line, five-star reviews. Everything a customer wants, apart from one thing: being easy to find.
In April 2026, the new site was picking up 22 clicks a month from Google. On average it sat in position 24, which is page three. Almost nobody looks at page three.
And pest control is a search-first trade. Nobody waits for a recommendation when there's a wasp nest in the loft. They pick up their phone, search, and ring whoever comes up first.
What we did
No tricks and no paid ads. Just the groundwork Google rewards, done properly and added to every month.
24/7 number at the top, a free quote form that asks which pest it is, fast on a phone, and the qualifications and insurance right where people look.
Each one its own page, so Protego shows up for each search on its own.
Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Maidstone each have their own page, written for that town rather than one page with a list of names on it.
Real questions, answered properly, each one pointing back to the right service.
Optimised for calls, linked to the right pages and backed by the whole site, so when someone nearby searches for a pest problem, Protego is the first name on the map.
New pages kept going live, so every month Protego turned up for more searches than the month before.
The results
Month three is where it took off. Clicks from Google went from 22 in April to 1,233 in August, and Protego climbed from page three to the top five. Every single month, more people saw their name on Google than the month before.

3,770 clicks from Google in under seven months

All that extra visibility turned into a big jump in new enquiries for Protego, coming in every way a customer gets in touch: phone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails and the quote form on the site. More people finding them, more people getting in touch, more work booked in.

What it means for you
There was nothing special about Protego's situation. A good local trade, a new website, and nobody finding it. What changed was a Google profile built to win the map, a page for every service and their main towns, and new pages going live every month.
That's exactly what Organic Growth does. Every town you work in gets covered, with no limit on areas, and we keep adding to it month after month.
